ABOUT JAIME CALLAGHAN

Jaime Callaghan is an American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) certified family nurse practitioner with multiple advanced degrees. Her experience of working as a healthcare provider within both inpatient and outpatient facilities has accorded her with the skills to render competent and dignified patient care for the treatment of chronic healthcare issues across the lifespan

Dr. Callaghan truly believes that in order to do the most good for patients, healthcare professionals have to focus on more than getting the medications right. It involves more focus on natural remedies, nutrition and proper exercise. It’s about going outside more and breathing fresh air. It’s about putting down the electronics and engaging more in the world around us.

This ideal thinking is what drove her to purse an associate’s degree in clinical nutrition from the Virginia Culinary Institute in Norfolk, VA. Mostly everyone has heard the expression “You are what you eat.” Nutrition directly correlates with how healthy our society is! An apple a day keeps Dr. Callaghan away!
