Here are two versions of vegan and non-vegan pumpkin smoothie you can make for yourself, your family and friends:

Method 1: Pumpkin-Banana Smoothie

Things you’ll need:

  • Pumpkin puree – 2 tablespoons
  • Banana (peeled and sliced) – 1 ripe
  • Vanilla ice cream – 1 scoop
  • Milk – 2 cups
  • Cinnamon powder – 1 teaspoon

Step 1. Put all the basic ingredients into a blender

  • Pour 2 cups of milk into the blender.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree and chunks of 1 peeled banana.
  • Spice it up with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder.

  • Throw in 1 scoop of your favorite ice cream. Vanilla blends well with the flavors, but you can certainly choose another favorite.

  • Coconut milk – 2 cups
  • Brown sugar – 2 tablespoons
  • Cinnamon powder – 1 teaspoon

Step 1. Throw all the ingredients into a blender

  • Pour 2 cups of coconut milk into a blender.
  • Add 1 cup of pumpkin puree to the blender.
  • Add in 2 tablespoons of brown sugar as well, and spice it up with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder.

  • Process all the ingredients in the blender for 2 minutes. The consistency of the smoothie should run smooth.

  • To make the smoothie taste like a latte, replace half of the milk with leftover coffee or add 1 teaspoon of instant coffee to the blender.
  • If the pumpkin flavor of the vegan version seems too intense, freeze a banana and add it to the smoothie.
