Tips You Should Keep in Mind
- Since these egg white masks tend to be runny and may drip, wear an old T-shirt to avoid spoiling your good clothes.
- Ideally, apply these egg white face masks over a sink or washbasin to avoid creating a mess. After application, keep your face over the sink for a few seconds to collect any initial drippings.
- For best results, always wash your face with a mild face wash first to remove the dirt and impurities accumulated on your face throughout the day. This will also promote better absorption of the proteins and nutrients from these egg white masks.

Should the egg whites be discarded after one use
Hi Edena
Egg whites can be saved for later use. But it is best to keep them in the freezer. That would be a task to get it back to liquid form at room temperature for facial application.
We won’t really suggest you store the egg whites and apply it to your face later. It is best to use a fresh one for each application.

Can you use store brought eggs white that come in a carton?
Hi Karen
Yes, it is absolutely okay to use them.
Okay so I’m not sure how or it isn’t something that has been mentioned but, the one for facial hair removal dripped all over my cloths. I had to wrap a towel around me. Im sitting here with it on and it’s dripping allot. I followed the recipe. Is this normal? Did I apply to much or is there some way to thicken it up?
Thank you
The hair removal did not work for me. I had hoped it would because I am looking for a more natural approach. Not only did it not work but my skin is red and on fire. I think that I might be having an allergy to one of the products.
I was very hopeful and because it didn’t work for me doesn’t mean it won’t work for someone else. I do egg and mayo hair masks and absolutely love them.
Hi Amy
We are sorry that it didn’t work for you. You might be having sensitive skin and hence the unwelcomed response. The ingredients used: egg white, sugar, and corn starch are not supposed to be harsh on the skin. May the sensitive skin combined with the peeling of the mask caused the burning sensation and redness.
