Method 1: Slip Free Hanger
Nothing can be more frustrating than clothes constantly falling off from hangers, especially when you have wide-neck shirts. But there is a quick solution to this. Just put a few glue beads on both the ends of the hanger and your anti-slip hangers are ready!
Things you’ll need:
- Glue gun
- Hangers
Single-Step Method: Put glue beads on the hanger
- Heat up your glue gun for 10 minutes.
- Place 3 to 4 glue beads on both the edges of your hangers.
- Let the glue dry off completely.
Method 2: Resize a Ring
While tight rings often get stuck on your fingers, loose ones refuse to stay put. But now, you don’t need to fret if you accidentally bought a bigger size ring. A drop of glue will resize your ring instantly.
Things you’ll need:
- Glue gun
- Scissors
- Loose ring
Step 1. Make a blob of glue and push the ring into it
- Put a blob of glue on a flat surface. Make sure to do it on a surface from which you can peel off the glue easily. You can also do it on a parchment or wax paper.
- While the glue is still hot and mushy, push the ring into the blob with some part of the glue covering the inside of the ring.
Step 2. Peel off the glue and chop off the outer edges
- Once the glue has dried, pry it off the surface and chop off the outer glue.
- You ring is now re-sized. This hack is temporary. You can remove the glue whenever you want.

Step 1. Glue 4 craft sticks together to make the frame of a coaster

- Make multiple frames to complete a coaster set.
- Let the frames dry completely.
Step 2. Cover the coaster frames with more craft sticks
- One by one, start gluing the craft sticks snugly on top of the coaster frames.
- Once the glue has dried, flip the coaster and repeat the same process for the other side as well. Let it dry too.
- Chop of any excess glue from the sides using a knife.

Method 10: Clean Glue Gun Easily
There are so many clever hacks you can use a glue gun for. But the same cool DIYs can leave your glue gun in a hot mess. Give your glue gun a quick cleanup using just one thing—aluminum foil.

Step 1. Ball up a large piece of aluminum foil
- Cut out a large piece of aluminum foil from the roll.
- Crumple it into a ball-like shape.
Step 2. Rub the foil ball against the glue gun nozzle
- Heat up your glue gun and rub the aluminum foil ball against the tip/nozzle of your glue gun. Do act with caution as the hot glue gun can burn your hands. Make sure that the foil is thick enough.

Step 1. Coil the pen spring around the broken cable
- Coil the spring over the frayed part of the cable. You will need to apply a little force to stretch and loop the spring.

- Apply a drop of glue just below the head of the matchstick. Do this on a couple of matches.
